I've seen a number of aftermarket strut bars for the GS that are advertised to be as good (or beefier) than the TRD variant. In fact, a speed shop down in Tucson (www.motorsportwarehouse.com) has one for the GS's that sells for $85, which is considerably less than TRD. It is polished aluminum, TIG welded, blah blah blah.

So, are these aftermarket bars as good as TRD? Typically OEM stuff isn't all that great and aftermarket stuff is better, but I'm new to the Lexus/Toyota world and don't know if the same holds true. Has anybody else had any experience with an aftermarket strut bar or other aftermarket parts with an OEM counterpart?

Thx...Doug
