Has any one taken before/after pictures, concerning the L-tuned suspension, that they can post?

Thanks Diesel.

Half way down this page are thumbnails that link to bigger pics.

My GS page

The one with stock wheels are pre-L-tuned and the ones with my WEDS rims are post-L-tuned.

What do these parts typically cost to install. TRD sway bars, L-Tuned exhaust in particular. I just picked up a GS430 and am looking to make some minor tweaks and it seems the L-Tune is going to have the sound (not too loud - I'm a family guy) and look I am after. But the car ride definitely needs some front end help and I think without lowering, the TRDs make sense.

I have the source for these parts (Steve Ganz)...he sells them all? If so, what kind of package cost am I looking at for the L-tune exhaust and the TRD sway bars front and rear?

Also, did the strut brace help? My 430 has a really good looking engine cover and I understand that it would have to go in order to accomodate the strut brace.

Any thoughts are welcome.

Gse,

based on what your are looking for, just get the F+R sways for ~$580+$60-100 for install

stb helps somewhat; bit if you prefer to keep the engine cover on, just get the sways-very effective....
there was on ex-540 owner who did this upgrade, and he claimed the handling is as good as his last 540.

also do not forget the steering ECU module change. for ~$125, it makes the steering firmer, a true character of sports sedan.

exhaust-~$575+$50 for install(if you are good with your hand and have enough tools, you might be able to do it yourself)

WhiteD,

l-tune will reduce body roll somewhat; to really get rid off body roll, get the front and rear SWAY bars from steve

For only $220 or so, I would get the STB too. It does make a big difference...

With both sways, STB, and L-Tuned Steering ECU, you're GS, (even on stock 16's or 17's) will handle better than a stock 528/530/540...

First, a question for you. Where are you located?

OK, onto your questions.

I had all my installs done at the dealer.

Springs/shocks/upper front STB - $440 incl. 4 wheel align.

F/R TRD sways + lower chassis brace - $175 I think.

Steering ECU - did it myself ($1,000,000)

Exhaust - $75.

Regarding the exhaust - even L-Tuned, which many think is quiet even though they've probably never heard it, might well be objectionable to your family. Listen before you buy if possible. If you just want bigger tips for looks, that might be possible on the stock exhausts.

Yes, Steve does sell 'em all. I think you're considering sways/braces without L-Tuned springs/shocks - not sure that will be great. You'll have a floaty flatter ride!

Good luck.

Great, thanks! YES. The springs/shocks reduced roll quite a bit and the sways did the same again. Now I can just 'whip the wheel' at almost any sane speed and around it goes, FLAT.

When you L-tune the GS and get it lowered, is there a need for camber kits?

No you do not need to buy a camber kit. Lexus cars come with built in camber, toe and caster adjustments. It's a Lexus, what can I say?
