FYI - Stock shocks shot at 70K
Folks,
Prior to getting the L-tuned suspension, I had no idea that ALL of my shocks were dead. When they pulled them off the car, it took the shocks a half hour to uncompress. In short, I was basically riding on the springs.
I was not really dissapointed with my ride prior to the L-Tuned - I thought it just felt "cushy". I had ZERO idea my shocks were dead. I'd bounce the corners of my car and it would stop bouncing after 1 to 1.5 oscillations. I really thought all was well and that I was simply upgrading to L-Tune vs. repairing a worn-out part. After L-Tuned, the car is back to a nice tight and solid feel. BTW, my original shocks did NOT show any oil leaks.
Soooo, if you've never had your shocks replaced and you're getting on up there in miles - be aware, that extra cushy ride might indicate you're due for some new parts.
Man, it's like a new car!

I did...
Unless you don't consider L-Tuned "aftermarkets" - then I did.
If the question is why I didn't go coilovers, it's a simple answer - $$$. The L-Tuned with install ran a total of $550. - that's the out the door, including everything, price.
