Question Stock '03 GS430 Springs....

....I just replaced my stock struts and springs with a Bilstein / H&R setup. I now have a set of stock springs lying around. Is there a "market" for these things? Have people gone back to a stock set-up after making modifications?

Just curious...

No, there's no market for those junks. There're several members gave them away if someone pays the shipping I still have mine laying around somewhere in my garage for 4 years

Not much of one, but they sometimes sell. Can list them in our classifieds forum or watch for want to buy WTB threads

Yea...I've got my original springs in a box too. But I don't think I would go through the expense of putting them back on when I sell my car. I'd sell them but shipping would cost more than they are worth. Maybe some day I'll have a garage sale and I'll find a buyer

Mine have been in a box for 3 years. Maybe someone can come up with a creative use for these

but with the aftermarket stuff it's hard to sell the car? if one day i sell the car i probably will spend the money and put the car all the way back to stock...

I don't think the l-tune shocks and springs will add or subtract value from the car. I would say its a different story for things like tc, lsd, coil overs, exhaust, etc. I doubt the dealer will give anything for those and it would make sense to take then off and sell separatly. Who knows, maybe those parts
like tc, lsd and exhaust might even fit the new 3 gen GS.

um you have a good point, maybe some people they won't even notice it coz' with the springs/shocks the car actually look "normal"

Smile ...Some Images of my "New" car...

...I finally remembered to bring a camera with me when I was out and about. These images are of my car with the Bilstein / H&R setup on my aftermarket 18" wheels with 245/40 tires.

Not sure if you can tell how much the car has been lowered from these photos, but I can sure tell that it drives much nicer than before.

Default Thanks...

....I'm actually quite happy with the level right now. Not sure if the ride will be as nice if I go any lower. I would consider going lower if I decide to get 19" wheels.
