L-tuned bump stop
I just got l-tuned shocks/springs delivered today.
There were 2 yellowish bump stops packaged with the shocks. Are there supposed to be 4? Even the invoice shows 2 in the package. I also have seen other people recommending original bump stop instead of the l-tuned one.
Does the original one has to be cut to be used with l-tuned shocks?
I'm not sure if technicians at Lexus or Toyota dealer around here know about the stuff if they have never installed l-tuned suspension.
Anyone knows any good shops in northern Virginia?

You only get 2 yellow Ltuned bump stops....its for the rears.
With that being said....throw them away immediately. Use the stock rear bump stops....otherwise you will have creaking noise problems back there.

Any mod required to stock rear bump? Is it just direct swap of shocks and springs for both front and rear, and just keep the bump stop the way it was? Then any experience tech can do the install no problem, right. Just watch out for the ABS sensors I guess... I've seen post where members recommended cutting the stock bump stop in half. Is this correct for 2000 GS400?
If I remember correctly, my front right stock bump stop was cracked at 35K, and replace under warranty. Is the stock one black color, and pretty thick and hard unlike the l-tuned version?
The cracked bump stop was a source of the noise I had at the time, and the dealer ended up replacing 5-6 other parts by the time they found the bump stop.

I'm preparing to have my l-tuned suspension installed soon.. My 99 GS3 has over 90,000 miles now. Do you guys recommend purchasing new OEM bump stops? I assume they wear just like anything else with time.
