Default stock shocks part number

couldn't find the info by search. i was cleaning up stuff and found all the stock shocks (gs400 and is300), and i was wondering which set is for the gs400

one set, it only says LL-23 and LL-24 (one for front and one for rear) on it, can't find anything else

on the other set, it says 48530-53090 DA-3 on one and the other says 48510-53030 DA-16. both are KYB.

anyone able to tell me which set is for the gs400? maybe someone can run and take a look at their stock 400 shocks thanks a bunch!

I knew buying the 98-99 parts book would come in handy

Front: 48510-39695
Rear: 48530-39465

These are for both GS300 and GS400 according to the book. If you happen to be looking for a set, I should have some for sale within the next week. My L-Tuned springs/shocks should be here today

oh thank you thank you thank you, that's awesome!

ummm so now the problem..... the first 5 digits match up no problem, but the second 5 don't match up with the one i have (the one that i actually found numbers on). does that mean those are for the is300, and the ones that i can't find anything is for the gs400?

anyone knows how to break down the part number? i know the shocks are kyb, not sure if the part number is exclusive to toyota or same with kyb

man this is killing me @_@

I still have the stock shocks and springs in a box. Where is the part number stamped? I'll look for it tomorrow morning.

My LTuned setup came today, so if you don't have it figured in the next few days, let me know and I can look at my stock ones if I have them out. Heck, If i mix up my LTuned and stock one's i could be in trouble, these things have NO stamping on them whatsoever. The box didn't even say LTuned, but the one the springs came in had it everywhere???

I pulled my stock shocks out of the box and here's what I found:
There a white label on each one. I don't know what's front or rear so all I can say is:
on the longer shocks -- both labels have "063" then under the 063 is :
"00/08/28 2 0606" on one long shock
"00/08/28 2 0607" on the other long shock

The shorter shocks -- both labels have "062" then under the 062 is:
"00/10/09 1 1255" on one short shock
"00/10/09 1 1256" on the other short shock

Thats weird...On the box my shocks came in, there is an L-Tune label. Can't say what's on the shocks since its already on the car

thanks for all the help guys. after all the exhaustive search and comparisons, i think i found the answer.

the ones that say LL23 and LL24, those shouold be the GS shocks. the other two, after some serach, they belong to the is300.

it's so funny, on aftermarket parts you find info all over the internet. but on oem stuff, it's so hard to find info

thanks for all the help again guys, you guys are the best
