I asked Steve about that before (a few weeks ago) and he wouldn't recommend the L-Tuned shocks with H&R springs. Yeah, I was also going to just go with the H&R springs with stocked shocks but I need more info about it. For some reason, alot of people in my area think that is a bad idea since the mechanics around here felt that the lexus stock shocks wasn't designed to take another spring besides lexus's own stock springs.
Also anyone got any quote of how much their installation is going to be by just installing the new springs?
I also felt that L-tuned doesn't give enough drop and leaning towards H&R or Intrax.

Hi D-Man.
using stock shock w/HR or eibach will not hurt anything. the only prob is that the stock shock will wear out FASTER than they normally would. ie.,say the stock shocks will last 5 years with stock springs. with HR srping, the stock shocks would prob last 6 months -1 year, depends on road condition.
people usually replace spring and shocks together for the reasons mentioned by D's mechanics, the reason i listed abve, and for cost saving in terms of double installation charge.
for reference, the labor cost run~$100-$150 in LA, add another 50-100 for 4 wheel alignment.
D, let me know whenever you want to get the BILSTEINS.

THanks GS4WILL, your first on my list when I buy the Bilsteins ! I am on a budget now cuz I gotta pay off some cops (cough cough) j/k. Cuz my back shocks are less than 1 year old and might as well use them until they are no longer good..
