kid - did you try to search for ecu install in this forum? It's pretty easy to do. If you don't find it after searching post up and somebody will help you track a post down.

No, you don't need an alignment after installing the ECU since nothing has changed with the physical setup. (unless you needed one before you installed the ecu already).

steering ecu is REALLLY simple....and I say that confidently having two left hands (and considering I'm also a lefty )

the stock ecu is under the dash, just remove that panel that is below the trunk and gas door release....its a couple screws and two hidden clips

if you stick a flashlight under u'll see a brown ecu resembling the l-tuned one with a blue wire harness...un clip the harness and unfasten the ecu and just pop in new one same as removin old one

only thing tho....unless your hands are SUPER tiny, you will be in the same predicament as I and a bunch of others here...that ecu is super hard to remove on the metal bracket

What I and others here have done was just pop harness into new ecu, and either use zip ties and affix it somewhere in that area OR just let it dangle loose...don't worry the panel when you put it back holds it from dettaching or going anywhere

trust me I know.....to call me a spirited driver would be giving me a HUGE compliment
