Default Finally Installed ..Now the Review (ZEAL FUCNTION ZI COILOVERS)

I bought the Zeal Fucntion Zi coilovers a couple of weeks ago
and finally installed them

i just LOVE them i couldnt be happier

heres the write up :

Road feel.
As soon i as pulled out of the garage i could feel the difference .It rode very smooth and absorbed every litltle bump quietly all i could hear was slight thud ..I was very suprised to have
it be so quiet ...this was a major plus for me .This is what i was looking for .

Handling
Before i had these coilovers i owned Tein Flex w/edfc and loved the fact that i could take turns
at a high rate of speed with barely any body sway .Now I have that and a lot more ...
With the ZEAL i feel so much more in control of the car in a turn

Noise
Compared to the Tein's .....Night and Day ...
i had the radio off and heard practically nothing ... i was so happy . Every bump I hit all i heard was mere thud . This is what i was looking for a quiet coilover that the ability to carve up the streets

Quality:
As soon as i opened the box i was very happy to see my new coilovers . They looked like they were very well made and just beautiful in color and had "Function" engraved on the top

Installation: These come all in one piece like the Teins so it was pretty much take out the old and pop in the new (thanks to CinFulxGS4)

Warranty: The Zeal Fucntion Zi coilovers come with a 1 year warranty

In closing .......I'm very happy i went with this setup perfect balance of luxury and sport

just like the Lexus GS400

if you have any questions ask away I'll answer the best i can

thanks
johnny

Those coilovers sounds very good. I checked the Endless site, but couldn't find that particular model you have, I only see

Function-Xs
Function-X
Function-B6
Function-S6
Function-V6
Function-D

Am I missing something? Thanks.

PS: I might be interested, where did you order yours and how much. Please PM me if you'd like.

Default new coilovers

Congrats on the install. Couple things. This the second time I've seen you mention having some noise from your Teins. I don't have any noise from my Tein CS, only smoothness...and I'm very picky. Does this happen with wear and tear? Was it always there? Maybe the Tein Flex are not as comfy as the CS because I have not one complaint.

Other thing is where are the pix. WE WANT PIX!

Just curious TLW....what made you get these as opposed to the other Zeal Coilovers. I am not familiar with their line.

The Tein Flex has metal pillow ball mounts and the Tein CS have the rubber mounts and so the CS are going to be a lot quieter going over bumps. Initially I was surprised my Flex was louder than the L-Tuned I had on before, but I'm used to it now, and I love the handling I have. I'm sure I would have been happy with the CS also though.

Very nice writeup Johnny, thanks much for sharing! I'll move this to the suspension sub forum in a couple of days after folks have had a chance to read it here.

Glad to hear they made a big improvement in sound & noticable in handling. Post an update after you've had a chance to do some more 'spirited driving' on some nice curvy roads

How do they compare for the ability to lower the car vs the Flex? That (to me) wasn't a big deal... I don't want to 'slam' my car, just want the 1 finger gap look but that's an advantage for some who want to get their car real low. How low did you go
