I want to lower my car ASAP
I just want to drop it 1 inch..
can i go with just eibach springs for now?
I do plan on getting billstein shocks eventually
or perhaps even some tein coilovers
just want to make sure springs for now.. will be ok
thanks

No Problem for Now
Erick - I agree with Jacob that U'll be OK for awhile w/o changing the struts. IME w/mini-truck lowering, a 1" drop doesn't necessitate a shock/strut change as there is still some travel left in it. It will cause an earlier failure due to the reduced travel generating extra heat but that should be way down the road & nothing to concern yourself about, especially since U plan on a strut change later. Because of the stereo weight in your trunk, U may find yourself doing what I had to do in the rear. I used the factory springs & coupled them with the TRD/KYB struts - the audio weight dropped my rear by a little over an inch ( kind of a budget drop!! ). Might want to look into the Teins because of the adjustability factor. Choose well!!

Eibach springs
I have these springs installed on standard shocks. Roads here in Ireland are twisty and bumpy. Springs fitted last October, miles travelled approx 9000. No problems so far with standard shocks. However, I also plan Bilsteins when budget allows. Prices here for springs = $330 incl shipping from Germany. Also - I have seen your Veilside body kit. I think that these are the best I have seen anywhere on the www. Have you had any problems with fit, vibration etc. Do you consider the kit to be robust (bumpy roads remember).

I used to run the setup that you mentioned. It works ok. The only thing you will notice is that the ride will become a little bouncier since the strut is not strong enough to dampen the spring well. You will notice this much more on the freeways than on surface streets. Good luck

the Eibach Pro Kit springs are designed to work in conjunction with the stock shock valving, but, your best bet is to match it with higher valved shocks to get the most out of your suspension.
I would wait and do both at the same time. Save the stereo system for later
