Question

My next project will be to lower my car . My #1 priority is comfort then handling . I want to keep my lexus ride in tact as much as possible . I already have the RMM stb and will be ordering the trd sways and chassis brace in a couple of weeks.

Do you guys think the Tein CS coilover which was designed for comfort will be more comfortable then the ltuned spring and shocks. Or vice cersa .

Also what about the Tom's coil damper unit - advox - sport . These are supposed to be designed for comfort also.

I am leaning toward the Teins because of there adjustableness.

Thanks in advance !

i am using a set of SARD coilover
is very comfot and good in cornering
but my friends is using TEIN and TOMS
he said is ok but too soft in cornering
but on the price of the coilover
TEIN and TOMS is around 1500-2000
but SARD is around 3000

cclp - I just want a little more handling but don't want to sacrifice much comfort. I am looking at either the Teins CS or the Tom's . Never heard of SARD . Do you have a website so i can look at them? I don't mind paying that price for # 1 quality !

I assume you have ridden in your friends car right. Would you say that the ride is still lexus like. Also are the Tom's adjustable like the Teins?

Thanks for replying. I guess i won't get many replies as most members go for the spring and shock combo.

TEINS is one of the largest, if not the biggest and best suspensions co. in japan. in fact, they are the OEM for many tuner co. there. quality from TEINs is nothing but excellent.

i am sure SARD is also an excellent co. but if you are looking for handling and comfort, the TEINS CS ~$1800 is very good for your money.

Can people really tell the difference between a 1.4 drop to a 1" drop? I haven't got my car lowered yet but is .5" that noticable?

0.5 inch is hardly noticeable.

i know you want comfot
but tein is very hard

i know tein is a largest company
it was because all the chinese in hk use them then tein become poplar

but most in japan they won't use tein
they use other brand

TEIN CS is designed for comfort and the look. So the ride shouldn't be harsh.

Even a 1 inch drop is hard to tell sometimes.
