Can anyone help me out

I want to lower my car and I am wondering what brand of springs do all of you perfer? I use this car as a daily driver and want the lowered look and still want a nice ride. I am having trouble and I am going to lower my car soon and I want to have a good spring. Will someone help me out before I lower my car. I am going to be using basic lowering springs.

Lowering the car and wanting to keep a good ride are oxymorons. If you have one, you WILL compromise the other.

other suggestions for springs only:
l-tuned/eibach
tein h-tech
l-sportline
most of these will drop you approx. 1" -1.2" and will be okay w/ your stock shox
anything more, the stock shox may wear out much faster
btw - tein s-tech avg. 1.5" drop

Do any of you guys know how Intrax are? I had them on my 98 Avalon and that ride was real nice so I was thinking of using them again? Thanks everyone. Anyone from the Covina area.

Intrax are just okay. Stick with the more popular brand springs for the IS and you wont regret it. I.e. L-Tuned/Eibach, Tein and etc.

If you're in the Covina area, I would recommend Luxury Motorworks in Monrovia for installs and etc. I may go Eibach/L-Tuned on my IS since I currently ride w/a Tokico Strut/Eibach Pro Kit combo on my Solara.

i had the eibach L-Sportline springs on stock shox at 1st then Tokico Illuminas next ... they rode pretty nice not harsh & just tight enough to have alot of fun driving more agressively than was prioudent on OEM suspension

the L-Sportline springs worked really well with the OEM shox & Also the Illuminas as well.. no problems there what so ever...

& yes... by lowering the car much you will compromiose something: clearance, suspension travel & compliance, Comfort... as Scott said.. .but as long as you are not a 'panty waist' & if you really like to DRIVE your car, the tradeoffs will be minimal & the benefits in road holding & driving performance will be worth it.
Plus the car just looks better lowered a little bit... & you will not compromise the wear rates on your car too much if you keep the drop to about 1-1.25 inches max

good luck bro....!
