Question

Has anyone installed sways and or STB on thier cars after having Teins installed. And if so did it handle much better. I am very impressed with the handleing of the Teins alone and was wondering if the sways and/or stb will improve it more?
Thanks

I got my sway bars put on after my teins. I didnt think it would make that much of a difference on top of my coilovers. But there was a pretty big difference. Get some sways.

Black_IS300,

I'm trying to decide whether to upgrade to APEXi coilover or TRD Sway bars. Which mod would you do first considered I already have Eibach/Bilstein. Which would make the most difference? Thank you!

Default Sways vs coilovers

RacingAristo,
If you plan on adjusting the height frequently, then go for the coilovers. If you like your height now, then go for the sways. The nice thing about the coilovers is that the height is adjustable, but if you already like the stiffness of the springs and the dampening of the shocks, coilovers won't do much more for you. Sways would be a better upgrade if you are looking for more performance over looks. Just my 2 cents worth

I guess I will go to the meeting see if I could get a good deal on TRD sway bars. If not, I will just get the coilover. Once I lower my car 1 more inch, the handling and the look would increase at the same time.

I agree with HI98GS.. if you are happy with the shock/spring combo you have now, performance wise you would probably benefit most from sway bars.

I'd like to lower another inch for my GS. Eibach/Bilstein simply doesn't drop enough. Is TEIN HA used for daily driving?

I think it depends on who you talk to. I have no problem with mine being on a daily driver. I have them on pretty stiff settings too. They can be bumpy but it doesnt really bother me... the sporty handling outweighs the bumpiness IMO
