L-Tuned Shocks Good or Bad?
Okay Guys I need some help here. I want to lower my car. I was looking at the L-Tuned Shocks and Springs.
1. I was reading through some posts and have seen people say that the L-Tuned Shocks, are not all that great and dont last long? Is this true?
2. I have 20x8.5 Chrome Niche's all the way arround wrapped with Nitto NT555 254x35x20. I rub a tiny bit when I crank the wheel to the left when Im backing out. Will I be okay with the drop from the L-Tuned Springs? I read on a website that the L-Tuned is a 1.2" drop up front, and .9" in the rear.
3. I have a 2000 GS400. I was also reading about Camber Kits not being available for this model? Is this true? With the slight drop with the L-Tuned Shocks, would a camber kit even be needed?
Thanks guys. I want to purchase these today so let me know.
Thanks!

1. true, i've heard them blowing out after 20k miles. bilstein sports is the way to go, life time warranty.
2.l-tune springs will drop your car about 1.25 inches so go with this with a ruler.
3.no camber kit is needed with this setup since the alignment person can get into factory specs with this mild drop.
yes i know l-tune shock are a lot cheaper, almost half the price but in the long run, the bilstein sports is worth the extra money now.

Corky,
Im trying to find some Bilsteins online. I read that you bought yours from someone here on the boards. Have any idea where I can price some Bilsteins? I checked l-tunedparts.com and cant seem to find them.
Thanks!
