Hello, does anyone know where is the parking brake and Foot brake wires are on a GS400?

Im installing the IVA-D300 and everything else works but these 2 wires.. =) I tried searching but no luck.. i typed in 'parking brake wire'

For the foot brake wire would i be able to just connect it to my brake light?

I have no clue on where to connect it for the parking brake.. Please help me out..

I would just tie those wires to ground. They ask for the parking brake for safety purposes so you can only see the monitor while the brake is engaged.

How would i connect it to the ground? you mean just connect the 2 wires together and connect it to the body of the car?? and this should work?

if it was this easy then why do they sell those bypass.. modules on ebay?

Yeah when you engage your parking brake you either have 12VDC or GROUND. So if you hook up those wires to GROUND it will trick the headunit that the car is parked.

Should just hook up to the chassis (metal).

Problem solved.. i got a workaround from the great folks at the12volt.com

Parking brake wire ---> reverse light wire
Foot brake wire ---> Brake light wire

VOILA video bypass... Genius..
