Default air suspension?

i am looking foward to lower my GS. i am thinking of getting Tein CS coilover but i don't like the hassle of jack up the car. On the other hand, Air suspension can raise or lower the car easily with a touch of a button. My question is what is the disadvantage of Air Suspension in the long run? Do you recommend Air Suspension for daily car? any inputs will be very appreciated. Thanks

Air - F/B/S.S $1495
Tein CS $1300

no need to look at long run, the airbag won't have the handling of coilovers.

plus, ONLY 1500 for airbag?! last time i heard air suspension ain't cheap, in the order of 3k or so?

What kit are you getting? $1500 seems a tad cheap even for air cylinders.

Rominl, some guys in japan have used air cans successfully on their drift cars, so the technology has now improved a lot that you don't have have to suffer ride quality while maintaining great slammed looks during shows. But of course it comes at a price (upward of $5500...eeks....).

Here's a link to consider:

i thought air bag is different from air runners?

i am sure if you get advanced air suspension it's going to be good. look at the ls430, look at the s class, amg... they have good to superb handling, all got air suspension

Air cylinders don't have a nice ride considering the fact that they dont have a shock absorber. I think air suspension is more for show than to have it in your daily driver.

Air cylinders have seals inside of them that wear out.
