Question L-Tuned Shock Life

Don't know if this is common but I put L-Tuned shocks & springs on this past November (2003), and they felt pretty stiff right after I put them on. Now they seem to have softened up to the point where the car feels too floaty again, I'm assuming this is due to the shocks, not springs. This has me really disturbed, I'm wondering whether I should have just put on the Bilsteins to begin with. Now I'm ready for Daizen sways. Can the L-Tuned shocks really be that soft already, after about 10K miles? Anyone else have this problem?
