I know there are lots of variables, but generally speaking. How many miles on an average will you get out of the CS and Flex's? My stock suspension currently has over 75,000 miles and it's way past time to upgrade. Can't afford to get suspension and wheels at the same time. So I will go with the suspension first then wheels. Or would you guys recommend doing the reverse. I currently have all stock parts on the GS3.

It's said that coilovers especially the teins can and should last about 50-60000 miles..I would get the suspension first and the wheels after. It's better to have the suspension waiting for the wheels instead of riding around like a 4x4 waiting to be dropped..Here is a pic of a gs lowered on tein cs coilovers and 19's enjoy..

So what gives after that kind of mileage? Do you have to replace the whole coilover? Spring and shock?

oh you can just send in the set to have them rebuilt! the good thing about tein is the setup is rebuildable!

Default my 2 cents

My current TEIN Flex set-up installed from day 1 lasted about 50,000 miles. I have put them through alot of abuse (SCCA auto-cross,daily spirited driving, & pushiing them to the limits) resulted in 3 bent rims(Alstadlt Lubecks) currently under repair. lol. My old rims are now SQUARE shaped. I had them checked out by a authorized TEIN installer in Jersey & he said they were definately blown. They just THUMP up & down massive rattle noise. I think the pillow mount system in the FLEX makes them rebound a little harder then the older HA's style. oh well.
