SC300/400 Daizen Sway Bars available!!! =)
Well after a LONG wait, the anxiously awaited Daizen sway bars for the SC300/400 will be here at the end of this week.
We won't be getting too many in, and a good number have already been presold, so if you are interested, PM me or email to order them asap and get yours before they are gone. I have no clue how long it will be until the second batch of them will arrive, so if you snooze you REALLY lose this time around!
Here are the stats on them:
Front bar, 35mm - approx 83% stiffer than stock
Rear bar, 29mm 3-way adjustable - approx 98% stiffer than stock
These really help the car, as the stock bars are very soft as you all know by how much the cars lean when turning.
If there are any questions regarding the product or installation, please post them here and I'll answer them as best I can. We have had a test set on a car here for about 6 months, and I can tell you firsthand that they work pretty nicely, especially with upgraded shocks/springs/wheels/tires.
The set is $499.95 for the front and rear set.

Oh these add much more than the GS sways, as the SC is softer to begin with, the GS was intended to be more of a sport model out of the box.
Most definitely sway bars will be THE biggest improvement you can do to your suspension, even more so than coilovers.
Both together are even better, but the amount of improvement that sway bars add cannot be matched by anything else that you can do to the suspension.
Install shouldn't be more than 2 hours, 3 tops.

does that price include shipping? do you get a harsh ride from these with alot of noise or does it still feel very smooth and comfortable just with much better handiling? thanks

The effect on ride quality is very minimal if any at all. No noise, as sway bars are not a moving part.
As long as the bushings and end links are in proper condition, the bars don't even touch any other items on the car.
Handling is much improved, did I add that handling is MUCH improved?

We should be getting 12-15, but 8 or 9 are already spoken for.
I asked when another batch will come but there was no ETA given.
No pictures yet, but they are just replacements of the originals, go to the GS forum and I'm sure you can find some pictures on some of the GS cars, they should be the same burgundy color, but other than that there's nothing to really "see" about the bars.
If we intall some I can take pictures and post them up, but not sure when that will be.

Supra tt stock bars are around a 25% increase in stiffness
Supra TRD bars are around 56% increase
These are around 90%
There were some TRD HD bars for a short time for the Supra, but I believe those are discontinued. I think those were something along the lines of these bars as far as stiffness.
Remember that these are made for the SC platform, all of the others are retrofitted Supra parts.
If I'm not mistaken there are no other bars on the market for the SC except for these.
