Lowest SC?

Hey, SW, Im not sure if you remember, but i came by over the summer and spoke with you about 454's
Kean has been keeping me up to date about your plans with the SC, good luck.
Im my personal opinion, supra N/A eibachs, and shocks, (1.3 / 1.0) and 18's drop the car as low as I'd like to go on austin streets. another half inch is within reason, with 19's but from what I understand would be a jarring ride, especially with tires needed to avoid rubbing.
My recommendation would be Tokiko's , espelir springs, and 18's , there is a car on CL who has this drop, search for espelir.

If you have no body kit, you can ride pretty low and the rashing won't be severe or visible. If you have a bodykit, you cannot lower your car much without scrapping and chipping, even over speed bumpers. The nose of the car is too long and the front axle is recessed too much. That's one of the reasons why it's better to get coilovers: so you can adjust the height between daily driving and pulling up to the club or car meets.
BTW, how's the gas mileage on that Viper?

Hey SW! You got a SC now? Planning on doing something a little different with a 2JZ? I've been a member over on the VCA for a few years now, happily reading about your cars and racing.
In case you guys don't know, SW is one of the best drag racers I've ever heard of... pulls times out of cars that seem impossible.

thanks
Thanks for the replies.
Lex400sc, I'm not going to use any kind of body kit, just the look of a '97 up. That picture is crazy low!! I don't worry about the gas mileage on the Viper, it runs 10.0's@139 all motor..
Fred, I'm looking for a SC300 right now. I sold both my Supras and decided to do something different. . I just can't decide on a stick car or auto. I love to shift, but since the SC is heavier than the Supra, the automatic will be faster and easier on parts.. We are going to turbo the stock Lexus motor, not change it to the Supra motor(yet).

you could chop your H&R springs in half and still be able to roll around. a little bouncey though even with good shocks.but looks mean azz hell slammed.if you ain't tucked you ain't slammed.you would not be able to make it over any type of speed bump or get up drive ways, the front end of the SC are soooo long. like a cadillac. you wont be able to drive very fast any more because you have to becareful of every little road imperfection.
