Default question about stock Front brakes....

guys any of you know what is the width of the stock front caliper? i am asking this because i am thinking to get a 4 pot brake kit which will have the same width as the stock caliper so i can clear my wheels...
is that possible or impossible? to find a 4 pot caliper which has the same width as the stock caliper since my wheel does not have any clearance at all now........

Andrew,

If you current wheels are tight for the stock calipers, forget about the 4 pot brakes. No 4 pot caliper will fit. The stock 2 pot caliper design has bulk of the massive pistons on the back side. Imagine adding another 2 pot at the front side, you'll need much more clearance

Hey Andrew,

Only chance you got now are StopTechs and Rotora. Not sure if you know RAristo. I'm not sure how all the SoCal crew are connected. PM him. He helped me out with fitment for my wheels. BTW, he has the StopTechs.

i belive the 13" stoptech is one of the very few 4 pots setup that will go under the stock wheels. andrew, i saw your car yesterday, you still got a LITTLE more space between the spokes of your wheels and the stock caliper than your stock wheels do. i think it will do with the stoptech, but check closely
