I've done some reading here and there, but nothing is confirmed.. But It does make sense..
Aren't the L-Tuned made by TRD? If so.. I know that KYB's are made by TRD because Its on the box of my KYB's. I wonder if these two are actually the same because they both ride nice and perform well without going to the extreme..

What do you think? Anyone?

I believe L-Tuned shocks are KYB's and L-Tuned springs are made by Eibach.

I just did some research and talked to some tech guys from TRD and found out that they are similar but not exaclty the same - Explanation - KYB is the Largest Strut/Shock company in Japan and make many shocks/struts for OE Applications.. TRD would sometimes get KYB to make some shocks for them with TRD specs and have more of characteristics of the Company. From what he said, KYB is the same as GAB in Japan - a very good brand..

He said TRD made for L-Tuned is actually Softer than KYB TRD.. Its very soft like factory while KYB TRD is more Sporty/Stiffer ride while having close to factory characteristics. He also said that the KYB is actually more quality than L-tuned because of KYB's(GAB) big brand in Japan..

HOOORRAYY!!

Yes, L-Tuned components from Eibach and KYB were specific to Lexus specs and are not the same as those you get from those companies directly.
