Sup peeps new here!
Just wanted to say whats up people! I'm new here and currently residing in Arizona. I'm all new to Lexus except that my mom owns one and has been super reliable which made me want one. Coming from a 300zx TT, 350z and SE-R Spec V. I want to go luxury especially that I have two kids.
I don't know much about Lexus, but I do know their market resale value is high and reliability is great.
I have my eyes on an older IS model which is the IS300. Its really tough to find one with clean title and at a price point. I did however find a 141k mile 2002 white and black interior IS300 for 5000 grand and the guy was able to work with me 4250 which is around my budget unfortunately.
But someone else beat me to it and now I'm stuck with all these rebuilt and salvage overpriced lexus is300 i see on the phoenix listing on cl. It's been a frustrating week, I thought about a 2001-2004 bmw 325i they look nice, but not sure about how reliable they are.
Is it safe to buy a rebuilt title is300 with over 150k miles? I know maintenance plays a factor in the previous owner. But I'm frustrated trying to find one for my budget range.

I am also fairly new to Lexus ( 2013 is250 ) but not Toyota products. They are built like tanks. As for BMW, stay away from them. I upgraded my 2003 325i to my new Lexus and it nice not having to worry about something breaking.
