So I got my tint done at Lexus. I didn't know the limit is 30% now for the fronts.. and what about the rear? isn't it supposed to be any % is okay? Because the guy there said they had some kind of legal standard they had to do so I ended up with 10% instead of 5%... what a bummer Well at least it was professionally done.

Anything goes for the other windows. They probably just dont keep 5% in inventory and told you that.

Yeah, you can get whatever you want for the rear windows, including 5%.

Front windows can be 25% and as others said, rears can be anything.
