Do it yourself. Brake pads are the easiest repair you can do outside of a filter/oil change. You're looking at removing the wheel, extracting 2 bolts to remove the caliper from the knuckle and replacing.

I assume you don't want to do it yourself since you are asking for shops. I have never taken my car for brakes yet, but I have always taken my previous vehicles to sears for breaks. I have just found over the years they do a quality job and never try to charge me for anything I do not need. I have had bad experiences at places like just brakes in comparison.

remove caliper?
Is this really necessary on the IS? With my GS, I can pop the pads out with the caliper still in tact. It takes 15 minutes max to replace.
