Default Houston Tuner?

I am almost done with my 1uzfe vvti swap into my tacoma. Was wondering if anyone knows somewhere to get a tune in Houston? Also if the computer can even be tuned. I plan on not running cats, and I converted the feul line to a return system.

Stock computer cannot be tuned. You can do a piggy back though. My question is how you got around the security system. Thats the problem with 1uzfe vvti swaps. Have you got it to fire up yet, or just mounted.

I dont want to discourage you but you might have a problem on your hands. A fellow Lextreme member tried to do this swap into a 92SC400 & gave up cause of the security system. THEY say that you need the ECU,ignition switch & matching master keys, along with maybe some other misc stuff to make it work. OR you might have to go stand alone ECU, like greddy EManage.
Which is more expensive but you also gain, a adjustable/tunable ECU.

Ive lost my master key to my car, & im using just my valet key which will only start the car & unlock the doors. To get a new set of remote keys, lexus has to order me a new ECU. Which they will give me for FREE, but the kicker is I have to buy 2 new master remote keys. $300.00 each = $600.00 and thats probably before tax. I just cant do it right now.
