I was at V8 supercars. Fun stuff.
In other news. As per my facebook page, we have a Fast and Furious 6 meet this saturday.
Of course we'd have a meet for this movie. Event details: https://www.facebook.com/events/636536936360706/
Cliffs:
May 25th from 5pm-8pm (includes plenty of time for people to show up and encompasses multiple movie start times)
Location: either Barton Creek Mall or Gateway Regal
Bring the nice cars out. Have fun, meet new people.

I thought I would post this for local IS members first. I have a F sport exhaust and Megan mid pipe for sale. $900 for the f sport and $300 for the Megan. $1150 as a package deal.
Both are in excellent condition (little dirty since I just pulled them off) and willing to meet up in the Austin area.
PM if interested!

New to the idea of a Lexus.....
Good Afternoon, All,
I will be in the market for a good used car by EOY. A friend has an IS 250 that I found interesting. I am completely new to the idea of a Lexus. Other cars I am considering are:
* VW GTI
* Volvo S40/60/C30
* Infiniti G37 - maybe out of my price range
* Lexus IS 350
I am looking in to 20K-25K range out the door and there seems to be a good selection and range of IS 250s and a smaller assortment of IS 350s in the central Texas area.
I am impressed with the reliability I hear of with the ISs. I am the type that buys a car, takes good care of it, and drive it until it drops.
I'll stop for now. I could go on with many more questions, but my intent here is to say hello and introduce myself.
Thanks,
Dale

Just moved from Indiana to North Austin last week. Brought my 97 rsp sc300 and 99 gs300 with me. I have yet to see any modded lexus. Are there any weekly/monthly meets or local import forums?

You should absolutely go with the IS350 over the IS250. The IS250 should not be an option for you given your past cars. The IS350 is more proper as a daily driver given the cars that you've had in the past.

I am back in the Austin area from Columbus OH and I drove my black ISF without a hitch. The ISF is such a mile beast eating up the travel like nothing. Gotta love the v8 powered smooth ride. Anyone meeting up for shows, meets, or races?
