Default Mechanic/tech/shop recommendation in Fort Bragg or Raleigh NC

Hey all, just looking for a tech that does side work or a knowledgeable enthusiast to help with my wear and tear such as oil changes and stuff like that. I'll even take a shop recommendation.

As a former Paratrooper, that lived in Bragg. There is not much selection of mechanics or service shops in FB. Fort Bragg being a military town, they price gouge or do shady work. Depending on what you need done your better off going to a major city like Raleigh or Charlotte.

Also the self autoshop on base have bays with lifts for DIY work with ASE mechanics to help you.

Let me know and I might assist

Hey Will, thanks for the reply. I 'm well aware of the shady work at the shady prices, which is why I came on here to look for recs from the club.

I could probably manage to learn to do normal maintenance on post, but I'm also looking for recommendations to shops/techs in Raleigh maybe, like you mentioned, for bigger jobs such as brakes and tires.

What kind of vehicle do you have? What would you be able to assist with?

Thanks much

I'm a ISF owner at bragg as well. Any recommendations would be great.
