Nov 1 - Touring Joara 2014
On Saturday November 1st, join Touring Joara 2014 for a stunning journey over some of the most scenic, mountain back-roads in North Carolina. This non-competitive auto tour traverses 112 miles of pure joy - from gentle curves to awesome overlooks to exciting twisties (190 curves in one 12 mile segment). What a way to savor the beautiful autumn leaves!
The all-day tour starts at 9:30 am at Catawba Meadows in Morganton, with stops at Linville Falls Winery and Little Switzerland Inn. Then on to lunch at Camp Lake James and the finale at the Historic Courthouse Square in charming downtown Morganton at 4:30 pm (where prizes will be awarded to for the top 10 hands in the poker run).
