Newly-Minted ATL Lexus Owner Saying Hi!
Heyyyyy you guyyyyyyyyys! </goonies>
I just wanted to stop in and introduce myself, my name is Ansley and I bought a fully loaded second-gen IS350 from Nalley Lexus Roswell a little over a month ago to be my (hopefully) high mileage daily driver. I am brand new to Lexus; my previous car was an E60 BMW 5-series that I had for five years. I still consider myself a BMW girl, and I'll probably get another maybe next year, but I hope the Lexus will still be my beater when it's got 300k on the clock.
My last car:
The new one:
I have a few plans for the car, nothing too exciting since I'm going to put so many miles on it...I think I'm going to put some Vossen CV3s in graphite on it, still looking into what kind of exhaust would be best (suggestions?), audio upgrades (my god that Mark Levinson audio package is awful!), I'll probably drop it a bit, darken the interior of the headlight housings, etc. I'm still trying to figure out what actual performance upgrades are most worthwhile. When I say I'm new to Lexus, I mean BRAND new. I hardly ever paid them any attention until I saw mine on the lot and I knew right then I was gonna buy it. So the aftermarket offerings for Lexus / Japanese cars are pretty foreign to me. (Pun intended?)
So, since I'm new to the community.....do you guys ever do regular meets? I'm a very active member on other car forums (100k+ combined posts) and I'd love to meet you guys to see if you're as douchey as the BMW guys are (no but seriously.....)
Anyway. I've already put almost 3,000 miles on the car (I live out near Snellville but drive to Suwanee, Atlanta, Marietta, etc. for work) so if you ever see me out and about, feel free to say hello!

What up Ansley, welcome to CL and welcome to the Atlanta crew...we have a pretty strong 2IS group here in Atlanta, and we try and meet up as often as possible. We have a pretty large group chat that we use to keep up with each other, and to discuss meets/car mods/news/car chat/etc...PM me if you want to be added.
You will love the car if you will be using it as a daily, not much out there that can match the comfort/reliability/sportiness of the IS350...sorry to say tho, that we are pretty limited to just bolt-ons for performance unless you want to get crazy...lots of local members have different exhaust setups that you can hear at one of our local meets, but nothing planned as of right now other than C&O next month.
Hope to meet you soon, and congrats on the car...I love mine and know you will love yours too!!!
