Hi all,

My JoeZ exhaust will be on the car this week, and I am considering purchasing the PPE headers to see how low I can get this car on ET's. I need to know of a recommended mechanic near Charlotte, NC or good shop that has previous experience installing the PPE's on a Lexus IS350. I don't really want a mechanic who hasn't done this before.

Cough Cough.... HKS350... you are near Raleigh right? Keg of beer and some install cash?

I probably won't be doing this until December range, and have the car ready for track next spring with Hoosier R6's, or ET Streets on the stock rear 18's.

I was looking at the PPE site also. Their dyno numbers show a 16rwhp gain, but what has me curious is the car dyno'd at 265rwhp with F-Sport intake, and Custom Dual exhaust. I would think that the car should have dyno'd that bone stock, which has me asking the question in my head, "Maybe the 265 was stock number, and the exhaust/headers/intake combo got them to 281? Because honestly, with my 271rwhp stock, I am expecting to hopefully be in the 285rwhp range on my next dyno with the JoeZ intake/F-sport filter/JoeZ racing exhaust.

That being the case, and if 16rwhp is true, i am looking at approx. 300rwhp after the headers.... Hope that happens... we might see .

Thanks, I'll check it out. Having the exhaust installed tomorrow morning, and hope to have before/after vids up on my dyno thread. Do you ever go to Shadyside Dragway in Boiling Springs? The run Thursday night 6-10 and Sundays 1-5 Test and tune. Hope to be able to make it there this coming Sunday to see how the exhaust helped if any.
