zebt66, thanks man, yeah just got it back from the shop, place called "Tim Hortons auto collision" not real happy with the quality, but i was told they will cut & buff it for free after 60 days cure time for the paint, 60 days sounds like a long time but oh well, i just hope it will take some of the orange peel out of it... the carbon fiber hood and trunk have some blemishes in the paint as well, but they did a good job re-clearing my cf spoiler..
Lee, yeah have my climate and cluster out too, just put my door panel back in after fixing that door actuator... smoked the amber front bumper lights, and got bored so painted my TT calipers and put on my sweet ricer Soarer decals on my calipers lol..

yeah i'll try and update the list.. i know there is also about 3 toyota/lex owners locally that don't post that are coming as well..
also i haven't went around to every forum and updated it yet.. i would say we have at least 30 people on the list.. so i'm hoping at least 20 show.. the list should definetly grow before then though.. a few sales people at the local lexus dealer wanted to bring a IS-F or something out, and maybe show off a IS250/350 outfitted with some F-Sport parts, so i'll contact them and see what's going on as well..
was at a gas station last night where some old doods surrounded my car checking it out, then when i came out they where like "This is a nice car man, this is a Acura right?" lol
BTW, if anyone is cruising down solo let me know and i can find out if someone from another forum or on here is leaving from the same area, maybe you can meet up and cruise together.. makes the travel much better..

UH damn
Uh well the lex isn't going to make it, Striped the hell out of my crank pulley bolt. Need to get that fixed but now looking at a 1JZ motor instead of NA-T. I have till weds to get this fixed or it isn't going to make it. I get back from TDY on the 5th if all goes well. Last time we were held back an extra week.
Aka paco----How did you like your 1JZ, Might pick one of those I have an Emanage Ultimate and accesories, for any tuning I need to do. Any hidden cost's associated with it. Or hints you can give me.

man i loved mine! with stock twins it was so torquey and fun.. I pulled really strong.. all i had was a 3" downpipe, full 3" exhaust, and boost controller and intake.. the guy that bought it from me added a front mount, 550 injectors, and a fpr, and dyno't 348 to the wheels on stock twins. pretty strong for the mods..
I plan on going 1jz again.
only tips i can offer is, buy your swap from jhot!, and if you have extra cash replace a couple things, i did my timing belt, water pump, tensioner, vc gaskets, plugs... stuff like that.
only hidden costs are if you don't get a complete swap, or something like that..
