Hi, My name is Kris, I live in Jacksonville, I am attempting a R154 swap in my SC400. I have a friend that is a custom fabricator, that is helping me with the swap. We have decided to cut both bell housings from the auto, and R154 and weld them together. This route will alow us to use the standard master & slave cylinder from the R154. I'm keeping my fingers crossed on this one. To reduce the possible errors, I am now trying to locate either an engine block, blown motor, or a good motor some what close to my area, to use for alignment purposes. From my understanding (which is little) the bottom end of a 1UZ and a 3UZ are the same or close enough to work.

If any one has one of these two motors, or has a lead to a motor, please contact me. this is the last peice of the puzze I need to complete the project.

Where in Jax are you? You know there is a Florida Subforum right? Should look there for more help. But yeh, let us know what part of Jax, I'de like to see this work on the car.

dude the 40D is incredible. i love the speed of the AF and the FPS
we gotta shoot again some time, maybe down town but i have to get a tripod
