Khan, instead of starting a new meet post I'm going to regularly update the initial post you made with meet info if that's OK.

Meet details for 3rd Annual February Fling
February 10, 2007
6900 Morris Estate Drive/ Solectron Drive (Depending on the mapping site you use)
Charlotte, NC
10:30 – 4:00
Rain or Shine

Its time for the third annual February Fling GTG at the Morris Costumes distribution warehouse in Charlotte, NC. Location is the same as last year. This is NOT any of the locations on Monroe Rd, it is located in the University area. There will not be an autocross for liability reasons, but this year it should be much bigger. We had to wait on the decided date because of Morris's expansion project onto the warehouse. Proceeds this year will go to the American Breast Cancer Society. This year we will have a pork BBQ pit on site.

We will use the same parking lot that we did last year. The large front lot is under construction for the new addition. There was talk of having the show indoors this year, but due to the recent rain, has pushed back the building’s completion date, so its outside. Hopefully we will luck out and have nice weather like we had the first year.

Should we plan to meet up in advance like we did last year and roll in together? Perhaps we just meet there and a couple of us get there early to set up

Posted on SELOC too, wanted to meet up, seems like forever since I seen anyone from Club Lexus. Aiming for meet either end of Jan. or Beg. for Feb. Problemly just to meet and greet in Charlotte let me know..

Cool, I'll see if we can get some ATL people up. What about going to that VW show/meet like last year? When is that exactly? We can meet up and cruise in together like last year.

Also need to see what Dave's schedule looks like.

I personally think we should find out when the Spring Fling multi car meet is and try to do it then. Automatic setup for location, food, etc.

Where was that Spring Fling muti-car meet last year? Does it move each year?

It was a multi-car meet, we had a nice row in the back we chose. They had a couple vendors there too.

It's in Charlotte, and is a multi-car meet. It is focused more on euro cars (not just VW but Audi, BMW, etc) but does have a lot of others including our group which has been fairly sizeable.

It's a location about 1/2 mile from my house, a large warehouse with a big parking lot that is owned by one of the organizers / participants so we have no issues with police.

All vendors welcome, however encouraged to donate something for the raffle.

The night before, and the night after the event, there will likely be other GTG’s in the area, so stay tuned.
