I've updated the top post of this thread with updated meet information.

Where: Quaker Steak and Lube near Lowes Motor Speedway and Concord Mills (link and more directions below)
When: 10:30am on Saturday October 23
What: We'll get there 1/2 hour before they open and secure part of the parking lot. They've got a nice patio that we can hang out in and have some lunch and beverages. Possibly do a Lexus cruise in the area after lunch and maybe snap some pics at LMS. My detail guy may come by as well and give us some professional tips and tricks.

I've spoken with the assistant manager and we're all approved for the meet.

So far we've got coming:

Now that the summer's big meets are over and boating season is winding down, let's do one a little closer to home for those in the CLT area....

I know I've spoken with TomTN, JBLex and they're both up for a meet.

I was thinking maybe a Saturday late lunchtime to meet up and grab a bite at somewhere like Quaker Steak and Lube up in Concord. Do a little Lexus car show of our own . Or possibly set up a dyno event at one of the local speed shops like Underground Racing.

Input on suggested events? Any dates work better / worse for folks? October 9 is bad for me.

If I'm in town this weekend I'll swing by Quaker Steak and talk to the manager.

I'm almost thinking it might be easier to do it earlier on Saturday morning (like 10:30 or 11 when they open) so that we can get all the parking spots and easily rope off part of the lot for our meet. That way we can have the rest of the afternoon and evening to do whatever 'normal' stuff.

Would like to do something some evening as well

Sounds like Saturday, October 23rd may be the best date for all.

Let's start a roll call! I've got a contact name / number for the manager at Quaker Steak and will give him a call later this week / weekend to confirm the time & location.

I'll also want to confirm their isn't a NASCAR race that weekend at LMS, the whole area gets crazy when that happens and everything is crowded.

Spoke briefly with the assistant manager at QS&L, he was very receptive. I'm going to go by there next weekend and chat with him in person and nail down the time.

OK, I just spoke with Steve Satterwhite who is the manager at QST&L and we're all set!

They don't open until 11, so we can get there at 10:30 am (he said earlier would be fine as well if we wanted) and take our spots in the lot, get together and walk around, check out each others rides and grab some grub!

We'll watch the weather as it gets closer to the day and adjust accordingly (e.g. if another hurricane rolls in we'll cancel, lol).

We're up to 16 or 17 people with the 'maybes' so far on SELOC and IS300.net, got them marked as 'possible'. I'd love it if we get half of the maybes to show up!
