I've noticed since the betas first dropped that the app doesn't work at all on 7.0. I typically don't expect things to work on beta so I shrugged it off. Now that the final release is out, is there any timeline on when the app will be updated to work?

Android Nougat requires a number of security changes that we're currently working through for Garage Talk. While we don't have a specific time frame just yet, an update is coming!

In the meantime, you can still access a mobile-friendly version of the forum by visiting ClubLexus.com from your phone's mobile browser. If offers much of the same functionality as our app, plus a few extra features such as replacing individual thread pages with a continuous scroll so you never next to click 'next page' when in a thread.

Any updates on the progress? It can't be that hard to update for 7.0, everybody else has

We're still working on it, but I hope to have some good news on that front soon. The security adjustments I mentioned in my earlier post relate to how we handle the login process, requiring us to rework some of our backend to properly meet 7.0's requirements. This admittedly has taken longer than we'd like, but we appreciate your patience.

My apologies. I spoke with our tech team and while the app side of things now matches the new security requirements, updates are still in the works for how that app communicates back to our server. We hope to have that set up shortly.

It's been a long time coming, but I'm happy to report that Club Lexus now works properly within Garage Talk on Android 7 devices. Try it out and let me know if you run into any issues.
