Weird issue with subscribed threads

I've sporadically had an issue with logging onto the site and accessing my subscribed threads. Sometimes the site doesn't show me all the posts from each thread since the last time I was here...usually its fine but sometimes its like the site thinks I've been here when I haven't been...

Any idea what the issue could be?
