Default Problem with picture in post.

Hi,

Back on 4/27 I PM'd the original author of the Sticky post titled "Photo DIY 2: RX300 AWD Transmission Fluid, Pan, Filter Change". It's a Sticky in forum RX Models > RX - First Generation. There's a problem with a picture in the original post. I have a "corrected" photo. I have had no reply. It is possible that the original 2006 poster is no longer active.

Could someone please have a moderator of that forum PM me and I will copy them the contents of PM I sent on 4/27 ?

Regards,
Brcobrem

Hi DaveGS4,

Thanks for the offer to assist.

Below my signature is meat of the PM I made to the OP. You can grab my "corrected" pic from the Skydrive link below.

Regards,
Brcobrem

In Step 9, at https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rx-f...er-change.html you show the transmission cooler outlet hose. Somehow, when you took or edited the pic it became inverted. I looked at that pic and my RX300 for over an hour trying to figure out where that hose was. At first it wasn't obvious to me that the cooler return line would go to the pan to refill it. There's also some power steering fluid lines in that area that use the radiator for cooling.

If you please, as a courtesy to you for doing that great article (thank you very much!), I doctored up that pic a little. Hopefully it will help others understand how to locate that hose a little easier. I put it up on Skydrive here if you'd like to use it : https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resi...DRqDZGkp-QIgmE

HI DaveGS4,

I see that you updated the pic. Thanks.

You need to also change part of the caption :
It says, "This picture is me facing the sky, bottom of the picture is the front of the car."

It should now say, ""This picture is me facing the sky, bottom of the picture is the towards rear of the car."

Sorry, I didn't recall that being stated in the thread.

Regards,
Brcobrem
