Just a request...Can we all start our D.I.Y. post with;
D.I.Y. or DIY
in the front of whatever you're DIYing. Just so it's easier to search for.
example, if I enter D.I.Y or DIY in search, everything D.I.Y or DIY related will come up.
Thanks, Tanner

yeah but this way you get clutter threads that just contain DIY like if somebody suggests in a separate thread "hey that would be a cool DIY." this kind of thread wouldn't be helpful for whoever is searching. If you put DIY in the thread title, the search can be narrowed to "search thread titles only" and it will come up with all DIY threads only and no clutter.

Just a suggestion ...
Perhaps a moderator can also help by changing the thread title for those new "DIY" threads.
I know this vBulletin 3.6 has a cool feature about renaming threads.
We just have to perform 1 click on thread title and you can change it without actually going into the thread to click the "edit" button to rename a thread.
It takes less than 30 seconds of your time.

I do a lot of DIY mods in the RX300 forum. When I start them I usually indicate DIY, but often times when I am adding to another similar post (as I did today in tranny cooler/windshield washer fluid reservoir thread), I can't go back and change someone's title.

Unfortunately only moderators can change a thread's title.
Users can only edit his/her own post.
That is why I suggested a moderator to help changing the title.
Moderators can also merge or move threads (within forum or to a different forum) and change the title at the same time.
