So.... what does it take to become a mod?
since we are finally getting a florida forum, and the SC forum seems to be under the control of a GS owner...... i have been thinking about this for a while now. maybe im out of my league, i just feel that after 3 years or so, and having over 50 members phone numbers in my phone , i want to be able to help when its needed. i know ive had my discrepancies with a particular member in the past... but thats been settled. so, that being said, what would it take to be a mod in the SC forum or even the florida forum? im sure i could get a few refferences here.
i think i just want something else to do when im home, since i can only read the same posts so many times in a few hours before a new one is posted.

Ethan and I nominate the primary forum moderators based on a number of criteria including being very active on the forum(s), mature and measured / level-headed, strong communication skills, follows and respects the forum rules. Most importantly is consistantly helpful to other members.
It's situational on the regional forums.... will definitely take volunteers but the initial nomination I do a bit of research based both on activity organizing meets and events as well as the criteria above (even though regional mods aren't true forum moderators).
