How many people have Dash Needles that don't work ?
How many have needles that don't work AT ALL? How many have some that just half work? How many have needles that just work when they want to? Would like to see a show of hands. I know we have been through this on a technical nature, but i want to know how many people, if you would please.
I have a '95 LS 400 and my speedometer needle works about 70% of the time. The light stays on, everything looks fine but the needle stays at 0. If I turn the ignition off and then back on again it will usually start working. The dealer wants $350.00 for a new gauge. I think I'll wait for now.
My needles are still going strong at 104k (don't keep them on full intensity), but the majority of probs I have seen where just a couple lights are out, not all of them.
I have a 92 sc300. The only needle I have a problem with right now is my temperatre gauge. It starts out bright but after about 20 minutes the middle of the needle starts to flicker than it goes out most of the time.

107K, they all still work, I keep waiting for the inevitable - - I hear of so many with the problem, why hasn't it happened to my 10-year-old car? tgg, I see your car is the same year as mine.
Are the '93s blessed by the Diode God? Or what?

The needles on my gas gauge and spedo sometimes flicker or go off for a while. It is extremely dependent upon how hot it is. Justin talks about the temp issues on his website at lexusdash.com. I have been waiting for a long time to place an order there and am a little frustrated with the slow progess. This has been a teaser for a few months now. The prices seem a bit on the high side, but I would really like to convert my needles to blue.

Well, ever since I got the car I always turned the intensity down to the level just before you "click" to full brightness. Then I heard of the problems and heat being a factor, so I have left it there and no probs yet.
I'm waiting too.....and yes the prices at lexusdash.com seem high
my speedo needle is totaly out, i gotta look for blocked out numbers at night and try and see how fast im going. also rpm needle flickers when i turn it up bright.
