Has anyone replaced their own A/C amplifier? I'm getting a blinking a/c light on cold starts, but no codes are set (I get 00 when I check). After restarting, I get cold air. I recently took it to a local A/C shop, but they found no faults.

Is that thing difficult to get to? Is there a way to tell what the upgraded amplifier looks like if it is the same part number? I've read the 2006 thread and the 2016 thread by parker33, but didn't see any other good information in my search.
