Angry Engine is broken. 2011 gs @ 62k

I purchased 2011 Lexus GS 350 AWD from CARMAX in May 2015. Last summer, my car was stopped with check engine light. And my car has replaced fuel pump last summer. And its factory warranty ended on December 2016. However, my car still had problems from engine since last summer. So I dropped my car at the dealership and got loaner car about 5 times between last summer and this January. They had never found what the problem is. Finally, my car stopped on 3/4/2017. My car towed to the dealership. And I heard that my car's engine is broken and it needs to replace to the new engine. It is totally unfair to pay for replace the new engine. Even if there are records that took services after the fuel pump was replaced, Woodfield Lexus and Lexus told me that they are not able to do anything. I do not understand why LEXUS is saying this problem is happened by oil fluid level. I am not an expert for a car, but I love to manage my car and check all fluid levels on Sundays. There was no problem on Sunday before the happening.
LEXUS IS ALSO SAYING THAT I PURCHASED THE CAR FROM CARMAX, SO THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY RESPONSIBILITIES BECAUSE IT IS FROM CARMAX, NOT LEXUS. ISN'T IT FUNNY?
I understand my factory warranty has expired, but the problem happened since last summer. When I dropped my car to get the service, my warranty was still alive. However, they did not find anything. The dealership and Lexus still have all records. Even if they have all information, they are saying it is my fault to make engine explosion.
I heard that something was exploded inside of the engine. #2 Spark plug was exploded and it was hit other things. And something broke the engine and it popped out from the engine. The engine is half broken. The engine is made of metal, right? Do you believe this? NOT CRACKED. The dealership gave me two options. One is to pay $10000 to replace my engine. The other is to sell and get $1000. How many people can pay $10000 right away? DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM SAYING?
Lexus is still saying they do not have any responsibilities for this case and the case manager is saying that he is not a mechanic and cannot check my engine's status.
Trying to contact with LEXUS, BUT SAME ANSWER. THEY DO NOT HAVE ANY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR MY CASE.

THANKS FOR Reading MY POOR ENGLISH

Didnt you notice a low oil light on the vehicle? Try not to stress this out, im sure it can seem like a lot to take it but you have more options then going through the dealership. What I suggest try with lexus customer care, you may have a chance if you have records of prior oil changes. Tell them im a long time toyota/lexus buyer and I purchased this vehicle thinking it was very reliable and backing of Lexus. See what they can do!

The fuel pump is very unlikely the cause for your engine to break.

What I would do if I was in your position I would search for a used low mileage engine off of www.car-part.com this is a search of salvage yards in your area. Pay a independant mechanic 700-1200 labour to install the engine.

Here are two in the IL area one is $2650 with 56k miles the other is $2094 with 70k miles, I like the one for $2,650 try talking them down to $1,8002007

Did you get the extended service plan when you brought your GS from Carmax? It save me over 5k in engine repair work.

The GS is reliable but old age and mileage play a factory for even the most reliable car on the road.

I have the '06 GS300. With that being said, Oil leaks from the front crank, rear cam, valve cover and I had the alternator replaced. Surprisingly, the Carbon buildup hasn't hit me. I'm at 130k.

true. My first car, 96 ES300 only had 60k miles in 10 years, when all the seals decided to rot and leak. I remember the power steering also went out shortly after.

You don't have full coverage? If you do, just pay the deductible and claim insurance.

I'm sorry, besides deferred maintenance and/or extreme abuse, there is no reason for an engine to fail after only 6 years and 60k miles. Maybe make a call to corporate, but be civil.

"full coverage" auto insurance covers loss/damage as a result of collision, flood, theft, hail, fire....but not against mechanical failure. His best two options (imo) are to call corporate and see if they can offer some help. If that won't work....buy a used low mile motor and have a reputable shop R&R it. (remove and replace) A helluva lot cheaper than paying Lexus for a crate motor.

"I do not understand why LEXUS is saying this problem is happened by oil fluid level." Dude, somebody F-ed up that motor long before you got it. Lexus is saying somebody ran it low on oil or whatever. Then added oil and sold it to CARMAX. Sucks, just get a used motor and move on.
Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Ok..
So I read your post "my engine is broken".. The cause went from a fuel pump issue, to a spark plug failure.. Both somewhat subjective.
So lets start with the reason you brought the car in to the dealership. Did you hear a specific sound from the engine, or actually hear the "explosion" that prompted you to take it in for service? Did you perform a thorough test drive prior to purchasing the vehicle? Had Carmax performed any maintenance on this car (check Carfax)? Many suspect notions and opinions
on the cause of your engines malfunction.
Ask the dealer to perform a compression test and request the results in writing.

+1 I agree. I strongly believe that proper maintenance is essential regards to longevity of the car. Call the corporate and tell them your situation, hopefully they can remedy your situation. Good luck.

Sounds to me, OP does not have good knowledge about engine in general. Maybe the car was on the verge of engine failure due to probably poor maintenance.
Lexus dealer sells used Lexus too. Wonder why one has to buy from Car Max. I never bought used car, never lived in preowned house in my life. For me that is the way
it is.

CARMAX will not sell garbage! They buy garbage cars all the time, and those car get quickly sold off to car dealers in Carmax's private auctions.

Even the most reliable cars you'll find some weird engine issues like this.
