LC500h w/ 354 HP
Is anyone else underwhelmed by the power generated with the hybrid variant? I am, considering a local salesman told me they would be near $130k
I got a chance to view one in person at a client appreciation event last week and while it's sexy as hell I can't understand why it's not more powerful.

Also, like this article says..
"The LC doesn’t so much shun the track star label as remind us that anyone with this level of Lexus parked in the garage undoubtedly also possesses a race car or two to play with on the weekends, with no need for the 500 to pull double duty."
I'm guessing most LC-to-be-owners will have some extra HP tucked away in their garages.

Numbers are final. But F*** Tesla. I'd never put 1 penny in Musk's pocket, nor ever buy Electric-only vehicle. Completely different cars.

Will have to wait on the first review video with test drive, but it isn't looking great at the moment.

Article is right on point. Just disappointed that, as a soon-to-be flagship coupe car along with RC, LC does not deliver on the performance part. I mean, it is going to be a six-figure purchase...

,
£76,000 pounds = $92,424 USD. . and that's the base.
fully loaded is:
£86,595 pounds or $105,750 USD.
what's more interesting is that it appears the Hybrid and the 5.0 are the same pricing for each level, Base, Sport, Sport+ and Launch Editions. your only choice appears to be which motor you want. But at nearly $6.00 a gallon for ($1.24/liter) average for Petrol, I suspect the Hybrid will probably be a lot more popular.

Barely six-figure car, optioned. It still brings great value in other ways IMO. You need to adjust your expectations. Lexus has never been about all out performance, never will be. Even the LFA, wasn't the fastest, and no one complained. Lexus will have NO problem selling the 400 per month they plan to produce.

I guess for me it's a question of how the flagship coupe will under perform their RC-F which as an NA car makes 467 HP. I was thinking more along the lines of Porsche's 918 whereas they used the hybrid technology to boost HP and performance. I mean apples to apples the LC500 is basically making as much HP as the RC-F, with GM pushing 650 plus HP in most of the their sports cars under 100k I personally had higher hopes for the LC500 thinking it'd be competing against Godzilla which is closer to its price point.

other than the BMW i8, the LC500-H is the only sport coupe with a hybrid option.
I would say the i8 is the closest competition to the LC500-H both are hybrid, both are sport coupes, both are in the same price ball park. Both have nearly the same total HP rating (i8 is 357hp with both motors combined).
and I can't afford either.
