What loaners are featured these days?
To anyone who has had any recall work done in 2017, what loaner vehicle did you get? Does Lexus still use pre face lift IS and ES? Have they started using the 4th gen RX? Just out of curiosity. Thanks.

Depends on the dealer. Some dealers may have a variety of loaners, some will only carry a few models, just depends what they want to give people as loaners. My local dealer only loans out new RX, NX and ES. I know another one I've been to loans out GS's, RX's, NX's and ES's.

Typically the RX here in Richmond. Ide like to try the NX since Ive often thought of moving into one permanently.

The only ones I ever see from my dealer is an ES or RX. They come loaded to the max though. I asked if they had anything else last time, but that's all they have. I would like to try out a new GS.

I just had my airbag recall done. I had an RX for the day which was not up to my expectation. I liked my wife's 2012 Acura MDX better than the RX. I like the spacious interior and that's about it.

Waiting on parts and loaner for the past few days is a 2017 IS Turbo. Since bringing it home, I've received multiple offers from the dealer to sell it to me with my IS convertible as a trade-in. I'm sure this is because years ago I bought a GX loaner (new) from a similar sales approach when I used the GX while my 330ES was being serviced.

NJ here. I got lucky. I had bad rear and front axle on the driver side and my warranty covered it. They gave me a 3is f sport. I got to drive it for about 3 months. It was fun while it lasted. Only downside was the big courtesy vehicle decal on the back.
