What else can I do? Really not trying to buy new rotors. I got akabono brake pads btw, the stock ones were awful they squeaked everywhere and it was obnoxiously loud

I just got my front brake pads replaced at 28K miles and they were replaced with Akebono brake pads. No squeals here with the new pads. There was a small slight squeal at different times of driving when my pads were getting low. I have 2013 non-Fsport.

Yeah those are the ones I got. When I first put them on they were perfect, no noises. Then I parked and drove it again after a few hours, and it squeaks just like last time. Happens a lot too. Idk what to do anymore. Not paying for new rotors

One more thing I forgot to mention. When they changed my pads, they also resurfaced the rotors. Apparently you should do this when transitioning to ceramic pads.

squeal noise is from not putting those grease or applying it wrong. I heard a lot of good review about the akub pads

I changed mine to Akebonos and had my rotors resurfaced at the same time. I get a very minor squeal when first pulling out of my driveway, but goes away right after that. I love these pads.

You should always get your rotors resurfaced when switching pads from semi-metallic to ceramic. Pads leave a thin layer of film on the rotor and this should be taken off before switching to a new type of pad material. Try just getting them resurfaced, it isn't too expensive.

I have the same problem bro. I actually bought brand new OEM rotors from Lexus and paired them with Akebono pads. My brakes SQUEAAALLLLLL like a dying pig. Omg. Drives me insane. The dealership installed my rotors and pads so no need to resurface, what else can I try to do???

I used the CRC Brake quiet:
https://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...Q&gclsrc=aw.ds

The F Sports are more prone to squeaking than non-F Sports.

this is a must! i had new oem rotors and tried akebono, duramaxx and pepboys ceramics and they all squealed like crazy. the only one that squeales the least was the centric ceramics. they still squealed. i used the stock grease that the pads would come with and they all still squealed like crazy.

i decided on a whim to use the crc red brake quiet stuff. liberally apply to backing plate where the pistons will touch the backing plate and go drive it. the red stuff will dry making sure the pads dont move and squeal...vois la, no more squeal. its a must.

Brakes have lots of dust. Any product I can buy to use on the wheels to get rid of the dust?
