hello

just found out that shell gas can help with the builds ups is that true ?

im using chevron and might change to shell now since i just watched the review

please let me know if you use shell and it helps !

Probably not. If anything the octane rating would determine how well it will run and not so much where you got it from. Correct me if I am wrong.

Because the 250 only has direct injection it will not help with the carbon buildup and neither will any fuel additives. I ran Seafoam through my intake to help.

+1. Gas additives don't matter, to a degree anyways, on the 250 due to it's direct injection only design. Best thing you can do about it is visit a shop that specializes in European cars and have the valves walnut blasted, will run you about $500 if you pay the shop to do it.

walnut blastin is out of my way already nothing around california does it. i called SSR that does walnut on bmw and they said they dont have the tools for it and they only charge $250 so bummer =( so im just WOT when ever theres a open area lol but how long do you need to WOT for it to help clear a little ? thanks for the reply im just sticking with chevron with techron

ps im really scared to seafoam i have a bottle for around 5months sitting in my room so much PROS and CONs
