Default Things you dislike or would change on your GS

So every car is not perfect but what were they thinking when they did this...

The pillar that sticks on on the bottom of the center console by the foot well. WTF. I have long legs and when I'm on the highway and using cruise control and want to stretch my right leg it always hits this large intrusion. WTF.

The A/C not having a physical button. How am I supposed to know if the A/C is on and I'm losing 10% of engine power without a light on the dash? I have to go into the climate control screen to tell its on and to shut it off?

The wiper blades hit the hood when you try to pull them up? I already scratched my paint not knowing this was an issue. How can I pull my blades up in the winter to keep them off of the window without freezing and getting ice on them?

No lighting on the cruise controls? How do I know where the buttons are at night? Why are they not illuminated?

Side mirrors that don't fold up so they don't get damaged?

So glad I have a RWD and don't have to deal with the hump. That would drive me crazy too!

During the winter, you can put your windshield wipers into "winter mode" by pushing the passenger side wiper up until it clicks. Then you can lift them without hitting the hood. When snow and ice isn't an issue anymore, just push them back down and they will click into default again.

Most automakers don't illuminate the stalks...once you learn how they work, is it really necessary to see how they work anymore?

Already remedied since MY2014.

Things I would change on mine would be a better infotainment system that has more capabilities like Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. Graphics aren't the greatest when compared to systems like in Audi. I also wish the LKA did a better job on keeping the car in the lane while cruising on the highway, and make the car a step closer to semi-autonomous like in Mercedes.

I could name several things. But the mouse is virtually a deal killer. We traded our GS for a GX. If the GX had the mouse we would be in a Q7 Audi.

I have zero complaints. None. The car is literally f-i-n-e in every aspect. It operates as advertised. It's fast as shi*. Handles like its on rails. Gets 32+ mpg. It fits me in its unbelievably comfy seat like a glove (6'2", 245lbs). Sounds better than many customs systems I installed in previous vehicles. Has more tech than any vehicle I've owned. Subjectively speaking, I'm kind of amazed that some items people bring up are issues. I mean, wasn't the AWD bump there when you purchased the car? Wasn't the human input mouse there? You knew the rear-seats didn't fold down, didn't you? Sorry you don't understand how your windshield wipers work and you scratched your hood. Read. The. Manual.

Sorry...totally satisfied right here.

On a side note, how would you compare your A7 to the GS?

Fast as sh@t...
Yea, umm no.
0-60 mph time of 5.8
I've already been beaten by a Golf GTR and a Dodge Charger RT.

Go to detail forum. If you care for it (not saying you don't) you can mitigate the swirl. Scratches? Any color is susceptible.
