Nice Interior shots
Lexusenthusast has some nice non-press photos of the interior.

I like the touch screen for the rear seats
and the instrument panel looks crazy:

Wow..they put leather on the instrument cluster?
Perhaps its just the OCD in me, but if you look at the upper left corner of the outer fitment area of the cluster, the stitching doesn't line up...
Actually, that entire bottom piece is a bit shifted to the left. Small detail but it would drive me nuts.
Other than that, the car looks beautiful.
That rear touchscreen is a nice "touch"

Bear in mind this is a hand built preproduction car...

After thinking about it, I figured as much, as this would not be something that a vehicle this substantial would openly miss and market.
Still, its something that catches the eye of a detail-oriented person and simply doesn't look good.

In surprised Lexus didn't go with a bigger LCD display for the instrument cluster. The S-class, 7-series, XJ, and upcoming A8 have a much larger screen to provide more info. The new larger HUD better be amazing.

See, I think that picture looks great.

Looks like it still has an in dash CD player right above the mark levinson symbol in the above picture? I didn't know they were still putting those in new cars. Can't say that I have specifically looked for a CD player in 2018 comparable cars to see if they also have one, I just happened to notice it in that photo. I figured CD's were way down in popularity.

Compare it to the S Class interior that was introduced several years ago. How Lexus saw this introduced in 2014 and came up with that ergonomic mess for 2018 is unbelievable. Almost laughable. Looks like the bean counters have taken over. More Hyundai than high end.

I don't like the instrument cluster. That leather insert just seems unnecessary. I can easily see that part, and its interaction with the surrounding cluster, as a potential source of unwanted noise during very hold or cold weather conditions and the dash flexing. Call me paranoid, but eh, that's the first thing that popped into my head when I saw it. Just seems over designed.
I would have preferred just a simple LARGE screen there. Just seems claustrophobic and like you're peering into a periscope when looking at the instrument cluster. Hopefully the HUD makes you completely forget about that instrument cluster and you never have to look at it again, although it may very well occasionally creak and groan to remind you its there...
