Default O2 Sensor Help

Replacement left, original right
Hello, hello forum!

First time poster, and I need some help.
My O2 sensor threw a code and I purchased a replacement Denis from local auto parts.

The problem is they don't look alike and I've dug and dug and can't find this to be a proper cross reference.

Bank 2 Sensor 1 - Upstream Fuel/Air
Toyota original from the car: 39467-07010
The replacement I received in Denso 234-9008

Can someone confirm with certainty that this is the right replacement?

You need Denso part# 234 9041. Take the one on left in picture back and exchange it. There is a difference in Upstream Left o2 sensors between Japan and Canada built units. Yours looks like Canadian built. Does your VIN start 2T2? If so, you need Denso part #234 9041 Upstream Left sensor.

Thank you Guys!
Wow, noob mistake.
I just rechecked the model number on the sensor and after the oil dried, I could better see the Toyota pry number, which I thought was 39467-07010, but it actually 89467-07010!
The correct cross reference is actually 234-9041. You were so right, thanks!!

Oops

Magic!

Thumbs up

You're welcome Mikediablo, that's what these forums are for, helping each other. Yeah, for some reason, parts like sensors are different between Japanese or Canadian built RX's which makes things difficult sometimes and leads to variation in quality IMHO.

Hi,
I have a similar issues. My 2007 RX350 has P2197 code (Bank 2 Sensor 1). I took apart the sensor and its a Toyota (89467-07010). I just ordered Toyota (89467-07030) which according to some website is the replacement. I called my local Lexus dealer and they said its not compatible. Does anyone knows if 89467-07030 can be used instead of 89467-07010?

Thank you!
Imran

Tech at Lexus told me Canada Lexes 2T2 vin and Mexico's have less problems. Must of meant Japan.
My 2011 rx 350 Bank 2 sensor 2 code. I replaced all on my 2001 rx300 with Denso. Worked perfectly.
I can't seem to find the cross match. Lexus dealer's hold on to those numbers now.
Would you know the 2011 Denso o2 bk2 sensor 2?

Thank you-

How about a 2011 Rx 350. Bank 2 Sensor 2 downstream. Vin starts in 2T2 Canadian.
Would you know the Denso part number?
Thanks!
